Platinum celebration.

Queen Elizabeth of Britain and the Commonwealth has made an unexpected brief appearance in the grand finale of the Platinum celebration.

She came out, stood at the Buckingham Palace balcony, smiled and waved to the crowds.

The 96-year-old monarch was unable to appear at Friday and Saturday’s events due to mobility problems.

She was, however, seen with some troops on the Buckingham Palace balcony on Thursday. She also made a surprise pre-recorded appearance with Paddington Bear.

A few moments ago, the Queen appears on Buckingham Palace balcony with an appreciative and expressive crowd.

She is captured with three generations of royalty – Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and their three children.

On the stage came Ed Sheeran performing and singing in front of the Buckingham Palace.

He is to lead a special tribute to the Queen.

The public around the palace will sing the national anthem.

Platinum celebration.
