Third Eye Newspapers publisher dies at 78

Chief Akanni Aluko, who was also a business mogul dies three weeks to his next birthday.

Akanni is/was the publisher of the defunct Third Eye Newspapers. He died a few weeks before his 79th birthday.

A close family member confirmed the death of the business mogul to one of our sources.

The same close family member confirmed he died at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, Oyo State on Friday morning.

Chief Akanni Aluko has been with stroke for many years.

Before his death, Akanni was a trained Geologist who hailed from Ilesha, Osun State, where he was given the Chieftaincy title in the community.

It is so sad he died three weeks before his 79th birthday. He was to celebrate his 79th birthday on 22 July 2022.
